Stop Motion Photography!

In this image, my friends Jalen and Gabe are jumping over four trash cans! I had this idea when I saw a few trash cans outside on the soccer field, and I asked Gabe to jump over them and Jalen just jumped in and started doing it with him. I started out taking pictures from the back, but I decided to take the pictures from the front. And I'm sitting on the ground looking up at them, so it is more of an interesting angle.
I chose this picture for the Stop Motion assignment because I liked how they look almost frozen in the air.  The first thing that caught my eye was how cool they looked in the air. Gabe is doing a karate kick and Jalen is jumping over with his two feet high in the air! When I took this image, I wanted to show how much fun they were having. We were taking pictures outside in photography class, and we were having a good time! So when I asked them to jump over the trash cans, I wanted to capture the enjoyment of the class we were having. They had to jump over them quite a few times, beceause I wanted to get them in the air perfectly! I think they were getting tired, and you can see how determined they looked in their faces!:)
This photo is a Stop Motion in the air because it is literally stopping their motion! They are in the air, and there is no blur in the picture! It also shows Worm's Eye View because the camera is looking up at them, just like a worm would! It also has a Leading Line in it! There are 4 gray trash cans in it in a row, causing a line! So, as I said, this photo not only meets the Stop Motion Photography assignment this week, but also has the composition elements: Worm's Eye View and Leading Lines! :D
